Our bins come in cubic metres which is calculated as Height x Width x Length. Look at your waste and try to estimate these measurements. This should give you an approximate size. As a general rule of thumb, one cubic metre is approximately the same size as a level 6x4 car trailer.

We can hire out bins for up to 10 days. *conditions apply

Asbestos can be disposed of if arranged at the time of booking. Bins must be lined with 200-micron heavy-duty plastic (not provided but can be purchased from your local hardware store). There must be enough over hang for it to seal the asbestos within the confines of the plastic and asbestos sheets must also be wrapped no more than ten sheets at a time. 

Once the bin is full, it must be sealed with builders tape or strong duct tape ready for safe transport and disposal at an approved landfill. No other materials are to be placed in the bin with asbestos.

All bins must not be filled higher than the rim (drivers can be prosecuted for transporting unsafe or overloaded bins). An additional call-out fee may apply should the driver need to come back to pick up the bin.

On average we require just one working day notice for deliveries; however, if you need something sooner please do not hesitate to ask and we will endeavour to meet your service time needs.

In general, morning deliveries are 7 am to 12 noon and afternoon deliveries are 12 noon to 5 pm. Due to unforeseen circumstances such as traffic conditions, site access issues, etc., we are unable to set an exact time for your bin delivery. However, upon ordering your bin please do not hesitate to request a time for delivery or collection and we will endeavour to meet your required times.

Bins can be placed anywhere on your property where the truck can fit. Depending on your local council, you can have the bin delivered onto your nature strip; however, it must not block pedestrian access or utility pits. Some councils will require a permit which you will need to arrange prior to the bin being delivered. 

All bins placed on a road, including laneways, no through roads or a cul-de-sacs, must have a permit from your local council. It is the responsibility of the hirer to familiarise themselves with relevant government and local council policies and obtain a permit where required. Bins are not to be moved from the delivery position and access must be maintained to allow safe collection of the bin. 

Our trucks require 3-metre width clearance, with no sharp bends and no low over hanging wires, trees, satellites, etc. Please note that placing a bin on a driveway can potentially damage your driveway. While we try to take every precaution, it can be hard to gage the weight of a bin and the fragility of a driveway. A full bin combined with the weight of the truck can crack your driveway. If your driveway is new or fragile, we recommend opting for a different placement location. You can also protect your driveway by placing timbers underneath the bin (not provided).
